1/4 cup to 1/4 + 1/8 cup sugar (to taste)
1/2 teas. cinnamon
1 tables. dry tapioca
very small dash salt
3 cups apples (I used 4 apples)
1 tables. butter
Peel, core, and chop apples. Sprinkle with lemon juice to avoid browning. Combine remaining ingredients (except butter) into apples. Pour into crust (in the tart pan). Cut butter into small pieces and put over apples. Bake for about 35 minutes at 425F. The apples should be soft when poked with toothpick, and the crust will be lightly browned.
