Iced Pumpkin Cookies

If you like pumpkin as much as I do, then these will kill you...well not really.  But they're full of deliciousness.
They're incredibly soft, spicy, and pumpkiny!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies (via All Recipes)
2  1/2 cups flour
1 teas. baking powder
1 teas. baking soda
2 teas. cinnamon
1/2 teas. ground nutmeg
1/2 teas. ground cloves
1/2 teas. salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1  1/4 cups sugar
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 egg
1 teas. vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350F.  Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt; set aside.  Cream together butter and sugar.  Mix in pumpkin, egg, and vanilla until creamy.  Add dry ingredients.  Drop on cookie sheets and flatten slightly.  Bake for 15-20 minutes.

I used cream cheese icing, but here's the glaze recipe:

2 cups confectioner's sugar
3 tables. milk
1 table. melted butter
1 teas. vanilla extract

Mix all ingredients together until smooth.  Add more milk if needed.  Let cookies cool completely before drizzling glaze on.
