When we have a jumbo bag of apples sitting in the kitchen, my family eats them one by one.  But I have to make something!  It's like a twitch that won't go away until I act on it.  So, here you see an apple pie with pecans and dried cranberries, and a sort of apple sandwich.  These were gala apples which aren't the best cooking apples, as you can see in the pie.  Leaving the skin on made them keep their shape as well, so it is partly my fault....peeling apples takes forever!  But it still tasted great.  And for the apple cheese stack,  I had apples and cheese together before which was very good.  But I found that they taste better eaten separately instead of apple and cheese in the same bite.  It was pretty though.
