Cookies are good for the soul.

These guys were taken out of the oven about 2 hours ago!  I used the same dough (Tollhouse, but altered) for both, and added white chocolate chips and dried cranberries to half, and chocolate chips and sliced almonds to the other.  Both are good but the white chocolate cranberries are amazing.

I'll alter the recipes for here so that each one makes a single recipe, instead of splitting the dough in half.

White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies
7 T butter, softened
1/8 cup granulated sugar
1/8 cup raw sugar
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 teas vanilla extract
1  1/8 cups flour
1/2 teas baking soda
pinch of salt
White chocolate chips
Dried cranberries

Combine the flour, baking soda and salt.  Cream the butter and all sugars.  Beat in the egg and vanilla.  Mix in the dry.  Throw in white chocolate and dried cranberries to your liking, mix.  Spoon onto baking sheet.
Bake at 350F for 10-15 minutes.
Makes around 24, depending on the size.

Chocolate Chip Almond Cookies
7 T butter, softened
1/8 cup granulated sugar
1/8 cup raw sugar
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 teas vanilla extract
1  1/8 cups flour
1/2 teas baking soda
pinch of salt
Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Toasted sliced almonds

Combine the flour, baking soda and salt.  Cream the butter and all sugars.  Beat in the egg and vanilla.  Mix in the dry.  Add in the chocolate chips and nuts to your liking, mix.  Spoon onto baking sheets.
Bake at 350F for 10-15 minutes.
Makes around 24, depending on the size.
